(BEDFORD) - The National Weather Service is back at it again, this time forecasting a flood watch for the northern part of the WBIW listening area.
As a matter of fact, flood watches and warnings cover almost the entire northern two-thirds of the State of Indiana.
The watch includes Lawrence, Martin, Monroe, Greene, Jackson, Brown and Bartholomew Counties and areas north all the way up to the Michigan border.
Additionally, flood warnings have been called for most areas along the Wabash and Tippecanoe rivers.
The local watch starts tomorrow morning and goes through Wednesday evening. NWS meteorologists are saying the storm will hit Northern Indiana tomorrow morning and sweep down to our neck of the woods by tomorrow afternoon.
They are also predicting, depending on location, between 3 and 4 inches of rain to fall.
So far, however, Orange and Washington Counties and areas south are not under any watch or warning.
Make sure you keep listening for updates on WBIW as we will keep you up to date with information as soon as we get it.
