(BEDFORD) - Two teenagers were arrested Saturday morning for allegedly burglarizing a number of vehicles around the Broadview and Washington Street areas.
Bedford police were inundated by 9 different reports of cars being burglarized. According to Bedford police, a Bedford Times-Mail newspaper delivery carrier noticed 2 suspicious men walking around the area, and reported seeing footprints in the snow leading up to several vehicles.
Police would eventually catch up with the 2 young men, 18-year-old Ricki Lee Lintz and a 16-year-old male, allegedly walking around with a computer, monitor, amplifier and other reportedly stolen items at 6:45 in the morning.
Both were arrested.
Lintz was charged with theft and taken to Lawrence County jail.
The 16-year-old was charged with juvenile delinquency and theft and taken to the Jackson County juvenile detention center.
