(VINCENNES) - With nicer weather on the way, not only are area Hoosiers taking advantage of it, so are area highway work crews.
The Vincennes District of the Indiana Department of Transportation has announced their list of construction projects for the 2008 season. So far, only a couple nearby roads are planned to be worked on.
In Greene County, IN-57 will be getting some reconstruction and resurfacing between US-231 and Newberry.
And in Dubois and Orange Counties, US-231 will be resurfaced between Haysville and French Lick.
Most of this year's work is being focused on Vanderburgh and Warrick Counties, and, at this point, Lawrence County isn't looking at any work.
Either way, INDOT officials want to keep both drivers and their work crews safe, so they encourage drivers, especially along these routes, to slow down, pay attention and stay alert.
