(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bedford company is currently in charge of the work to improve and develop the B-Line bike trail in Bloomington.
Bloomington Mayor Mark Kruzan held a press conference yesterday announcing the development which would create a multi-use path, and work should begin by Memorial Day. Bedford's Tri-County Builders submitted the lowest bid, reportedly coming in around $200,000 below estimated costs.
The overall bid was for $2.9 million, and will convert disused railroad tracks into a biking, walking and general use path.
