(BEDFORD) - The City of Bedford has issued a boil order for several areas of the city due to the replacement of a fire hydrant.
Several areas were out of water for a few hours yesterday while they made the replacement, however, last night a precautionary boil order was called, just in case.
The city says the housing communities of Cambridge Square, Ridgewood Apartments and The Pines are all affected and should boil water until further notice.
There are also a number of businesses affected by the outage, including the Old Buggy Restaurant. Scroll down to see a full list of affected businesses and areas.
Boil orders mean you should bring your water to a full boil for at least 2 minutes before using for drinking or cooking, or use bottled water.
