(ORLEANS) - Orleans Dogwood Festival officials are looking for former Dogwood Queens, chairpersons, and citizens of the year as part of their celebration of the 40th anniversary of the event.
The festival's theme is "40 Years of History and Tradition" and the committee is hoping to recognize those who have helped make the event over those past years.
Additionally, the queen contest for this year will be held Saturday the 25th at the Orleans Elementary School gym, with the little miss event to follow on Sunday the 26th.
