(BLOOMINGTON) - Presidential candidate and New York Senator Hillary Clinton was in Bloomington Friday afternoon for an event at the IU Auditorium.
Clinton again focused her speech on the economic and policy efforts of her campaign.
With Indiana and North Carolina having the next primary contests on May 6th, and Indiana being the only truly competitive race between the two, both Clinton and Illinois Senator Barack Obama are concentrating efforts here in the Hoosier State.
The last three polls conducted in Indiana, the most recent being a Research 2000 poll conducted last Wednesday and Thursday, are all showing Obama with a slight lead.
Research 2000 shows a 1-point lead, the Indianapolis Star shows 3 points and the Downs Center shows 5-points, giving Barack Obama a realclearpolitics.com poll of polls average of 3% over Hillary Clinton.
Hilliary Clinton returns to Indiana on Tuesday with stops in Indianapolis, Hobart and Princeton. She will be in Kokomo on Wednesday and Terre Haute on Thursday.
Currently, Barack Obama has no events announced in Indiana.
