(BEDFORD) - A car crashed through a doctor’s office in Bedford yesterday afternoon.
Bedford police reports sat 82-year-old Joan Masterson of Mitchell pulled into a parking spot at the office on 24th and Q Streets, and, when she intended to back out to straighten up, reports say she left it in drive and, essentially, wound up parking in the waiting room!
Bedford officers estimate damages are between $25,000 and $50,000 as both the building and vehicle were heavily damaged and one person in the waiting room reported injuries from debris.
One listener called WBIW and said a number of people inside the office were escorted out the back of the building due to the accident.
