(BLOOMINGTON) - Another big arrival has made his way to Bloomington as of last night.
Tom Crean isn't a name you may be familiar with already, but he has spent the last nine years coaching the Marquette Golden Eagles men's basketball team, and will now be coaching the Indiana Hoosiers.
In the NCAA Tournament, Crean took the 6th seed Golden Eagles to top the Kentucky Wildcats in the first round of south regional play before losing out to Stanford in the second round.
Crean landed at Monroe County Airport shortly after 10:00pm last night, and will be part of a major press conference at 11:00am this morning.
Of Crean's 9 seasons at Marquette, all 9 have been winning seasons and made 8 postseason appearances, and IU Athletic Director Rick Greenspan, and Hoosier fans nationwide, hope he continues that trend in Bloomington.
