(JASPER) - State Police Jasper have a Huntingburg woman in custody after they say she was driving intoxicated with a child in the vehicle.
State police say they received several calls of a reckless driver southbound on US-231 and, when they finally found it, they pulled it over for a traffic infraction.
When the trooper made contact with the driver, 41-year-old Rhonda Klem of Huntingburg, the officer noted she was under the influence of a controlled substance.
Additionally, the trooper found a young child in the vehicle with her.
Troopers arrested Klem and charged her with operating while intoxicated with a prior and neglect of a dependent.
