(JASPER) - State police from the Jasper District have solved a theft from Huntingburg Machine Works trucks in Paoli.
Police received a tip from an individual saying a vehicle had been spotted at the Jasper Wal-Mart that was recognized as stealing items from other vehicles in the parking lot.
Police conducted a traffic stop and found the driver, 43-year-old Kevin Baker of Indianapolis, to be in possession of stolen items.
After the arrest, someone from Huntingburg Machine Works came to the Jasper Police Department and identified some of the items as those that had been stolen from their trucks in Paoli earlier this month.
Baker was charged with possession of stolen property and driving while suspended with a prior, and the investigation continues.
