(BLOOMINGTON) - Presidential hopeful and Illinois Senator Barack Obama will be making his first, formal, announced visit to Bloomington tonight.
Obama will be hitting the IU Assembly Hall at 8:30 this evening. This visit comes as part of an expected tour of Central Indiana, which starts in Indianapolis this afternoon, then heads straight for Bloomington.
Doors open at the Assembly Hall at 6:00pm and the senator is expected to arrive at 8:30pm. This comes just days after Democratic rival, New York Senator Hillary Clinton, graced the same stage Friday.
