(BLOOMINGTON) - A Springville man was arrested in Monroe County for allegedly breaking into a garage and stealing food out of a garage refrigerator.
Monroe County Sheriff's officials allege 19-year-old Jeremy Vestal of Springville entered the garage of a home on Strain Ridge Road over the weekend, and the homeowners called 911 when they heard noises and saw their motion lights come on.
When police arrived, they found Vestal with his arms full of food.
After being ordered to lay on the ground, reports say Vestal told officers he thought he was at his buddy's house, and officers noticed he seemed intoxicated. Vestal would eventually be tested and shown to have a .20 blood alcohol content.
Vestal was arrested and charged with felony residential entry and misdemeanor illegal consumption and public intoxication.
