(BEDFORD) - Bedford police responded to a 3-car accident that injured two.
Police reports say 68-year-old William Ray of Bedford was stopped to turn into a parking lot off of Mitchell Road when he was struck in the rear by an allegedly speeding Mustang, driven by 17-year-old Mason Sale, also of Bedford.
That impact sent Ray's vehicle into the oncoming path of 43-year-old Jeff Cummings. Ray and Cummings vehicles were tossed into the nearby parking lot.
Both ray and sale were injured, though only ray was taken to the hospital with neck pain.
Sale was cited for driving too fast to avoid an accident.
