(MILLTOWN) - State police and Crawford County Sheriff’s officials found the remains of a human body near the Crawford County town of Milltown Monday.
The state police report says officers discovered human bones near Milltown and secured the scene until forensic anthropologists could arrive to work it Tuesday.
The anthropologists confirmed the remains as being human, however, they have not been able to identify the body nor make any determination as to cause of death.
State police and the Crawford County Prosecutor's Office are continuing to investigate the find, and ask anyone with information to call the Jasper Post at (800) 742-7475.
