(BEDFORD) - In the race for the democratic nomination to take on District 44 Republican State Senator Brent Steele, Heltonville’s Matt Colglazier delivered a clear shellacking to Bedford’s Tony “Big Dog” Van Pelt.
Colglazier more than tripled Van Pelt's vote total across the district, and looked similarly strong here in Lawrence County.
Colglazier will now go on to face Brent Steele, who is arguably the biggest name in Bedford politics at present behind current Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman.
