(COLUMBUS) - World-class art from the Columbus home of the late J. Irwin and Xenia Miller will be offered for sale next month by Christie’s in Europe Auction House in what the company describes as “the most important and valuable collection of impressionist and modern art ever offered” in its history.
The June 24 sale in London of 17 pieces is predicted to generate more than $80 million. The sale of the art was necessitated by the taxes that would have had to be paid by the estate.
