(BEDFORD) - Dunn Memorial Hospital officially has more than one organization interested in taking it over.
Both Clarian and Ascension Health companies have been given a 30-day extension to present bid proposals to the board.
Ascension runs St. Vincent's Hospital, and Clarian operates both Bedford Regional Medical Center and, now, Bloomington Hospital.
Though both organizations have their own set of advantages to their bids, any bid would have to be approved by 4 boards, including Dunn's Association and Board of Governors, and the Lawrence County Council and Commission.
