(SEYMOUR) - National Weather Service meteorologists are forecasting the East Fork of the White River to get above its banks by this weekend in some areas.
As of yesterday morning, the river was at 10 feet in Seymour, putting it just 2 feet below flood stage.
Officials are forecasting the river to get up to the 13-foot level by tomorrow afternoon and fall below flood stage by Saturday afternoon.
If it gets much above 13 feet, CR700 East in Jackson County could begin to flood.
Right now, meteorologists aren't forecasting any flooding in Lawrence County.
