(BEDFORD) - Eight people are behind bars after narcotics officers from Bedford and Lawrence County departments made a drug bust at a home on Ridgedale in Bedford.
Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig tells WBIW News that county officers made a traffic stop and found information relating to drug paraphernalia.
Narcotics officers were subsequently issued a warrant for a home on the 900 block of Ridgedale where Craig reports officers finding drug paraphernalia, and items that could be used in a meth lab, though Craig says a functioning lab was not found.
Indiana state police dispatched their clandestine lab team anyway to dispose of the harmful materials.
Right now, four people are facing charges of visiting a common nuisance including Kimberley Gollotte of Bedford, John White II of Bloomington, Keri Smith of Mitchell, and Toby Pace of Bedford.
Four people are also facing possession of meth precursor charges, including Lindsey Hutchinson, Steven Sykes, Mark Spurlock and Kristina Fox all of Bedford. Additionally, White had an outstanding failure-to-appear warrant in Monroe County.
Smith was facing 4 of the same in Lawrence County plus a civil attachment and a theft warrant from Monroe County.
Craig says the investigation continues and more charges may appear.
