(BLOOMFIELD) - Greene County Sheriff’s deputies are on the lookout for two men who were shot during a burglary on IN-54.
Two men were found trying to allegedly steal items from the K&H Auto on IN-54 when they were discovered by the owner, who, after feeling threatened, shot at them.
The owner said he could see blood from the leg of one of the men as they ran off. Then, one of the men came back in an aggressive manner with a flashlight, and that's when the owner fired a second time, possibly striking him in the chest.
According to sheriff's reports, one of the men said his name was "JD," and both were last seen driving westbound on IN-54 in an early to mid 1990s green Ford Explorer SUV.
