(UNDATED) - Indiana State Police traffic cops are getting a little more firepower, and no, we’re not talking about new weapons.
We're talking more than 300 horsepower and 3,300 pounds of Detroit steel and iron, 8 cylinders and 4 big rubber meats on all 4 wheels.
Late this morning, state police officials in Indianapolis will be unveiling a series of unmarked ford mustang police cruisers, set to patrol Indiana highways.
State Police Sgt. Anthony Emery says the new Mustangs will provide troopers with, "more flexibility in addressing highway safety."
We say that's the understatement of the year.
