(SHOALS) - Officials at the Martin County jail have been busy over this Memorial Day weekend.
Saturday, a West Baden man was taken into custody in Monroe County.
Police in Monroe County arrested 45-year-old Brian Emmons for an unrelated charge, and extradited him to Martin County jail, where he was then served with additional felony charges of possession of meth, dealing in a sawed off shotgun, and resisting arrest by vehicle.
Then, also on Saturday, 45-year-old Lisa Baker of Loogootee checked in to the Martin County jail to visit an inmate.
That's when authorities ran a records check on her, and turned up a warrant for felony theft from the Martin County Sheriff's Department.
She was then taken into custody, no word on whether or not she got to visit the person she was there to see.
