(BEDFORD) - Yesterday’s storms did a number on the Lawrence County area, causing some flooding and damage.
A number of roads were listed as flooded yesterday throughout Lawrence and Orange Counties, the storm also knocked out power to around 550 Duke customers, especially in the southern half of the county, and even left some standing water on IN-37.
One utility pole in Mitchell was reported as catching fire. As of late this morning, only one road in Lawrence County remained flooded, that being Rabbitsville Road between Meridian and Woodville Roads.
All roads in Orange County are back to normal, and Duke only had 1 customer in Lawrence County listed as out of power.
