(BEDFORD) - There’s been a rash of vandalism throughout Bedford this week.
Bedford police are investigating several incidents of both graffiti and broken windows, though no connection has been determined at this time.
Bedford Assistant Chief Dan Kirk tells WBIW News that swastikas and the word "chizz" have been spray painted on several buildings throughout the stone city, including the Bedford Commons Building, the Lawrence County Museum, the 1st Christian Church and the Elks Club.
There have also been several reports of windows being shot out with a BB gun, primarily around the Broadview area.
Reports of broken windows have come into the police department from Barrett Rental and Shawnee Apartments.
