(BEDFORD) - Bedford was hit by some heavy storms throughout the day yesterday.
National Weather Service meteorologists report the focus of the storms was northeastern Lawrence County and most of eastern Monroe County.
As of midday yesterday, Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig reported a tree being blown down near Springville.
Wind advisories were issued through midnight last night, as winds were gusting over 60 miles per hour in some areas, and hail fell throughout most of the county.
However, now that those storms have passed, were looking sunny days today and tomorrow, with another storm possible Wednesday.
