(FAYETTEVILLE) - A freak accident caused a Fayetteville woman to be hit by her own truck.
Lawrence County reports say 59-year-old Judith Taylor was sitting on her porch watching her family's truck that was running and, according to her husband Wayne, had the emergency brake on.
However, the truck started rolling and Taylor dashed out to try and get inside and stop it, but lost her footing, getting struck by the truck and then pinned in between it and a pole, fracturing her upper leg.
Taylor was taken to the hospital for treatment; no one was inside the truck when it started rolling.
