(WASHINGTON) - A levee has broken on the swollen white river in southern Indiana.
Authorities are urging residents to evacuate the area near the rural community of Capehart in Daviess County.
Meanwhile, the fight to contain flooding continues to move downstream on the White River.
The river's basin is absorbing most of the flooding in many areas of central and southern Indiana.
Governor Mitch Daniels is visiting several cities and towns today to review the damage.
