(BISBEE, AZ) - The death of a Bedford man in Arizona that was originally thought to be murder, has been determined as suicide.
According to a report published in the Sierra Vista Herald/Review, police in Bisbee, Arizona, a town about 10 miles from the Mexico border, say Charles "Charlie" Burrage, a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School working construction in the southwest, was found dead with a gunshot wound to his head, but also said he had gotten into a bar fight Saturday night and his motorcycle was initially missing.
However, after investigating, police determined that the people involved in the fight had nothing to do with the shooting, and determined it was self-inflicted.
Bisbee officer Charlie Austin said there was, quote, "no way someone else could have committed [the shooting]."
Memorial services are being held here in Bedford tomorrow afternoon at Cresthaven Funeral Home at 1:00pm.
