(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Mayor Mark Kruzan is asking for caution from area residents as flooding in and around the campus town recedes.
Kruzan wants to let residents know that emergency crews and departments are working to get everything back to normal after heavy rains blasted Monroe and Lawrence Counties again early yesterday evening.
As of 5:30 this morning, more than 800 Duke Energy customers in Monroe County were without power, down from a peak outage of 10,000.
Greene County Duke customers are almost back at 100%, as are those in Lawrence County.
