(REGO) - State police from the Jasper District picked up a couple on meth related charges.
Jasper's Sgt. Chad Dick says shortly after midnight this morning, police caught up with 23-year-old Tasha Sizemore of Fredericksburg in unincorporated Rego, just 10 miles southeast of Paoli, who was wanted for probation violation.
When officers arrested her, they also inspected the truck she was in, driven by 37-year-old Kevin Kelley of Hardinsburg, and found a package of meth, and a loaded firearm, as well as Sizemore's 6-year-old daughter.
Sizemore was preliminarily charges with possession of meth with a firearm, neglect of a dependent, and taking a child where drugs are present. Mr. Kelley was also arrested for possession of meth with a firearm.
Both were taken to Orange County jail.
