(MONROE COUNTY) - A Dubois County teen died at Rooftop Quarry in Monroe County with friends.
Monroe County Sheriff's reports say 18-year-old Walter Ayala of Washington, Indiana jumped in to the water hole of Rooftop Quarry, and didn't come back up.
The area is reported to be a popular spot for cliff jumping and is also a dangerous spot due to debris in the water.
Ayala was found by divers shortly before 6:00 last night, and pronounced dead by Monroe County Deputy Coroner Liz Fiato.
An autopsy is scheduled for this morning.
