(BEDFORD) - Starting today, the Lawrence County FSA office will be taking applications for the Emergency Conservation Program for farmers who have experienced loss as a result of the recent flooding.
Assistance between 75% and 90% is available for farmers who need to rehabilitate land, depending on various circumstances.
Farmers who need help removing debris, reforming fields, restoring livestock fences and other structures and installations is available, however, deadline to sign up is July 11th.
Those needing help should put in their applications at the Farm Service Agency Lawrence County office at 1919 Steven Avenue in Bedford between today and July 11th.
