(FRENCH LICK) - If roads aren’t closing because of water over the pavement, they’re closing because there’s not enough water under the pavement.
The Indiana Department of Transportation Vincennes office has announced they will be closing a section of IN-56 once again near French Lick.
The section will again close IN-56 between IN-545 and IN-145 in Orange and Dubois Counties to replace piping underneath, and that closure will begin in less than two weeks, on Monday, June 23rd.
The official detour will reroute motorists from IN-56 to IN-545 to IN-164 to IN-145 and back on to IN-56.
No through traffic will be allowed along the closed section of IN-56.
