(LOOGOOTEE) - A man was arrested last night after crashing his motorcycle, and then getting back on and riding off.
49-year-old William Hamblin of Shoals was riding his black 2003 Honda motorcycle west on US-50 in martin county when he rounded a curve and lost control.
Despite his injuries Hamblin got back on his bike and continued on towards Loogootee, but he passed an Indiana State Police Officer on his way.
The officer pulled Hamblin over in Loogootee, and was then transported to Jasper Memorial Hospital for his injuries and to be tested for intoxication.
Hamblin tested over the legal limit for alcohol and positive for marijuana.
He was released from the hospital and lodged in Martin County Jail on charges of leaving a property damage accident and operating while intoxicated.
