(BLOOMINGTON) - Monroe County deputies were dispatched to a domestic battery call Sunday and when they arrived, a 5-year-old answered the door asking the officers if they were there because the dad was mean to his mom.
Deputies allege 29-year-old Robert Sketterly pushed his wife to the ground, choked her and kept her from calling 911, saying he was, "tired of her attitude."
Police say they couple had been at each other on and off throughout the day, and the ultimate fight occurred in front of their 3 and 5 year old kids.
Officers eventually arrested Sketterly on felony counts of battery and interfering with the reporting of a crime, and he was lodged in Monroe County jail.
