(MITCHELL) - Mitchell Police are also looking for another truck driver that was causing trouble in the southern Lawrence County town.
Mitchell Police Chief Jim Richardson tells WBIW News one of their officers saw a small dump truck driven by a David Hutslar speeding, and when officers went to pull it over, they say the truck took off running.
However, as Richardson said, you can't run too fast in a dump truck, especially when you're running on a dead end street.
When the truck reached the end of the road, Police say Hutslar bailed, and his passenger, 50-year-old John Turpin, stayed in the truck and eventually told officers who was driving.
Mitchell Police took Turpin into custody on a public intoxication charge, but, after searching for a couple hours, couldn't find Hutslar, and are still on the hunt.
They ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the department at (812) 849-2151.
