(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police allege a Warsaw, Indiana man stabbed a Minneapolis man to death in the campus town Saturday morning.
Bloomington's Sgt. Jeff Canada says 32-year-old Brian P. White of Warsaw is in custody on one count of murder after they say he allegedly stabbed 32-year-old Christopher Johnson of Minneapolis, Minnesota to death.
Police say the two got into an altercation at a home on Arlington Road and, after they were separated, white reportedly stabbed Johnson outside the home.
Johnson was taken to Bloomington Hospital where he would be pronounced dead.
According to the police release, Johnson was the frontman for a Minneapolis band called "Useless Wooden Toy" and was in town performing at a house party.
