(BEDFORD) - A Bedford moped rider is charged with hit-and-run after he struck two parked vehicle with his scooter.
Bedford police say 23-year-old Daniel Glasgow of Bedford was heading northbound on J Street near 22nd Street when, according to reports, he struck the mirror of a parked pickup, knocking him over and causing him to slide under the back of the next vehicle.
A witness helped Glasgow up but he then fled the scene but was arrested on the property next to the second vehicle.
Police say they administered a breath test for alcohol and also have a blood test pending, but was then lodged in the Lawrence County jail.
Glasgow is currently facing preliminary charges of leaving the scene of a property damage accident and driving while intoxicated.
