(Bedford) - One man was injured when a motorcycle struck a car early Thursday morning on John Williams Boulevard.
According to the driver of the car 39-year-old Arnold Farler of Campbellsburg was traveling east on Williams Boulevard, and when he attempted to turn across the westbound lanes into a parking lot he saw cars in the distance but had room to turn.
As he neared the lot his air-bag deployed and he heard a bang, and when he could see, he saw a motorcycle on its side in the lot and a man lying in the grass by the lot.
The man, 27-year-old Joshua McClusky of Bedford he was in the right hand lane of Williams Boulevard traveling west at 40 miles per hour when he was stuck by the car.
Bedford Police Officers found a 68 foot skid mark from the motorcycle, but McClusky claimed he was going 40 when asked again.
McClusky was transported to Bedford Regional Medical Center after complaining of back pain.
