(BEDFORD) - One person was injured in a three vehicle accident at intersection of IN-58 and Lincoln Avenue last night.
According to witnesses on scene the vehicles of 45-year-old Brenda Scott of Bedford, and 21-year-old Justin Johnson of Mitchell were stopped at a red light in the northbound lane of Lincoln Avenue, when a third car driven by 22-year-old Jeffrey Bundy of Bedford, struck the rear of Johnson's car.
The impact pushed Johnson's car into the rear of Scott's car causing damage to all three vehicles.
A passenger in Johnson's car, 21-year-old Tyler Lee of Oolitic, complained of pain to his neck and lower back and was transported to Bedford Regional Medical Center by ambulance.
Bundy says he became distracted when approaching the light. He was cited for speed too fast to avoid a collision.
