(JASPER) - Jasper State Police caught up with several people Friday night either wanted already or on marijuana charges.
State police arrived at a Jasper home looking for 38-year-old Kareena Whaley who was wanted on warrant, and when they knocked on the front door, noticed a man walking out the side door who reportedly smelled of marijuana.
After they detained that man and entered the residence, they found Whaley and another person, as well as marijuana, controlled substances and other paraphernalia.
Ultimately, 3 people were taken to various jails, including Whaley for maintaining a common nuisance, drug charges and warrants from Martin and Orange Counties.
20-year-old Amanda Walls of Washington, Indiana was arrested for marijuana and paraphernalia charges as well as visiting a common nuisance.
And 22-year-old Allen Emmons of Jasper was taken in for possessing a legend drug, a controlled substance, pot and paraphernalia as well as maintaining a common nuisance.
Emmons and Walls were taken to Dubois County jail, Whaley to Martin County jail.
