(JASPER) - Early Thursday morning an Indiana State Police Officer got more than he bargained for during a routine traffic stop.
The officer pulled over 24-year-old Cory Simmons of Gentryville for speeding, but during the investigation it was determined that he was intoxicated.
The officer then searched Simmons and found marijuana in his possession.
Simmons was lodged in the Dubois County Jail and charged with operating while intoxicated and possession of marijuana.
