(BLOOMINGTON) - Employees of Sunrise Greetings in Bloomington were informed yesterday that the manufacturing arm will be closed.
The Herald Times reports that the change will result in the loss of about 60 jobs, and the phasing out process will start in January 2009 and be completed by March 31st.
Sunrise, however, will keep 160 positions at its Bloomington location in other non-manufacturing roles.
Sunrise will work with manufacturing employees and help them find other positions within the company or positions outside the company.
