(SWITZ CITY) - A Switz City man arrested for child pornography has agreed to plead guilty.
According to a report published in the Bloomington Herald Times, 32-year-old John Timothy Laughlin of Switz City signed an agreement to plead guilty to a felony charge of sexual exploitation of a minor.
The charge stems from an incident in summer of 2005 that involved Laughlin using a 13-year-old boy in a pornographic video.
According to the plea agreement, the court will ask for a 15-year sentence, half of the available maximum, and that Laughlin register as a sex offender for life, as well as other restrictions once he be released.
The plea will officially go into effect during the late July trial which is scheduled in Terre Haute.
