(UNDATED) - Today’s looking to actually be a dry day, that is, unless you live or work near certain sections of the river.
The National Weather Service has declared a flood warning for the East Fork of the White River in Columbus, Seymour and Rivervale.
In Columbus, flood warnings start this morning and go through tomorrow evening. Water levels are expected to be a little more than a foot over flood stage, which will flood nearby walking trails and some parking lots.
In Seymour, river levels are expected to rise more than 4 feet above flood stage by tomorrow evening, causing flood warnings to be issued through Monday afternoon.
At that level, several state and county roads will become impassable and others will be compromised.
And in Rivervale, flood warnings are issued through Sunday morning, as the river may climb a couple feet over flood stage, compromising Buddha and Lawrenceport Roads.
