(BLOOMFIELD) - A Bedford teen was hospitalized after wrecking his car east of Bloomfield.
According to the Greene County Daily World, 16-year-old Tyler Franklin of Bedford rolled his Oldsmobile after losing control on IN-54. Franklin was taken to Bloomington Hospital with back pain and was cited for driving while suspended.
Greene County deputies say a few cars were stopped eastbound on IN-54 waiting for another driver to make a left-hand turn yesterday morning. Franklin came around a curve and couldn't stop in time, sending him off the roadway and landing him on his roof.
Franklin was at least helped out of the car by other witnesses.
