(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana State Bar Association is establishing an apparatus to offer free legal aid to flood victims.
The ISBA has set up a hotline for callers to get a hold of, and a direct legal connection with FEMA. Flood victims who use the hotline will be set up with an area attorney who has agreed to offer free legal assistance for things such as problems with insurance, landlords, or contractors or who need help replacing lost or damaged legal documents.
The phone number to call if you need help is (800) 266-2581 and you can call between 8:30am and 4:30pm.
