(BLOOMINGTON) - What could have been a pleasant night out for a couple turned into a bit of a disaster after the husband allegedly threatened to kill his wife.
Monroe County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Scott Mellinger says 35-year-old Wendell Sullivan and his wife reportedly got into a dispute over whether or not to go out for the evening, that resulted in Sullivan allegedly beating and threatening the life of his wife in front of their 2-year-old child.
When deputies caught up with Sullivan, he was at his parents' home, denying anything had even occurred, however, evidence at his home showed just the opposite.
Sullivan was then taken into custody on felony battery and intimidation charges and lodged in the Monroe County jail.
