(ORANGE COUNTY) - Indiana State Police from the Jasper District took an Orleans man into custody for a series of charges yesterday afternoon.
State troopers, Orange and Washington County deputies as well as Paoli police responded to a disturbance call involving a reportedly armed subject.
When officers arrived, they found a man named David Coleman leaving the home in a white pickup, and when they stopped him, they realized he was driving while a habitual traffic offender, which is a felony, and while drunk, as well as in possession of a loaded handgun without a permit, another felony.
Coleman was lodged in the Orange County jail without incident, no word on whether or not other charges are pending.
